Shockwave Therapy isn't as scary as the name reads!

 

Shockwave, uses pulses of sound waves to treat soft tissue (ligament, tendon) injuries and is best applied to chronic (long-term) soft tissue dysfunction/injuries.

 

The sound waves cause small micro-trauma to the tissue to stimulate healing in the tissue. As this device uses pulses of sound waves (creating pressure) it is a powerful tool in releasing stubborn and dysfunctional fascia!
